The camera is shown with its integrated touchscreen. The demonstration captures a plant, selects image points and regions, and displays their spectral curves. It then connects the camera to a computer for acquisition, calibration and display settings. Plant imagery illustrates the acquisition workflow; it does not demonstrate a clinical assessment.
An image with a spectrum at each spatial position.
Hyperspectral imaging records how reflected light changes with wavelength. In tissue-imaging research, that information can help investigate optical characteristics associated with hemoglobin and other tissue components.
InterCare’s imaging archive explores diffuse reflectance, calibration and tissue-oxygenation research. These research concepts are distinct from the portable camera’s hardware specifications.
Clinical applications require application-specific development and validation. The camera demonstration is a research imaging workflow, not a diagnostic result.
